What membership costs
One flat monthly fee. No copays, no deductibles, and no bill showing up three weeks after your visit.
If you have not run into Direct Primary Care before, the short version is that I keep the practice small and you pay me directly. That is what makes room for 30 to 60 minute appointments and my cell number in your phone.
Monthly membership
AGES 0 TO 18
$50
a month
AGES 19 TO 39
$80
a month
AGES 40 AND UP

Each person has their own membership at their own rate. There's no enrollment fee and no contract.
If you're signing up a family
For a family, those add up, and I want to be straightforward about that rather than let it come as a surprise later. What you're paying for is a doctor who knows each of them, with as many visits as they need and no charge at the door.
The Obesity Medicine program is $200 a month and includes your membership, so it replaces the rate above rather than adding to it.
What your membership includes
As many visits as you need, with nothing to pay at the door
Appointments that run 30 to 60 minutes
Same-day or next-day scheduling, most of the time
My cell number, so you can call, text, or email me directly
Telehealth at no added cost
In-office procedures at member pricing
A specialist's input through eConsult, usually within a day, at no added cost
I keep the practice small on purpose. That's what makes the rest of this list possible: room in the schedule when you need it, and time in the room once you're there.
There's no meter running on how often you use it. If you're not sure whether something is worth a visit, that's exactly the kind of thing I'd rather you ask me about.

What isn't included
Labs, imaging, and medications are billed separately, at or near my cost.
That's where a lot of the savings show up. Lab work often runs up to 90% less than traditional pricing, and the baseline panel I run for most new patients is about $170. For everyday prescriptions I dispense from the office, the difference is often a few dollars for a hundred-day supply against twenty to fifty dollars for ninety days at a retail pharmacy.
The one other fee worth knowing: after-hours calls and texts are $50, and I can't guarantee an in-person visit outside office hours.
Do I still need insurance?
Yes, and I'd encourage you to keep it.
Your membership covers day-to-day care. What it doesn't cover is the expensive and unpredictable: surgery, hospitalization, a serious accident.
Most members pair membership here with a high-deductible plan or a health share plan. That combination protects you against the catastrophic while your everyday care happens here, and many people find the two together cost less than what they were paying before.
If you have an HSA
Federal rules changed in 2026, and HSA funds may now be usable toward Direct Primary Care membership. Whether that applies to you depends on your plan, so check with your plan administrator before counting on it.
If you're wondering how this works with your specific plan, or with an HSA or Medicare, those are answered on the FAQ page. Read the FAQ.
Where my care ends
A specialist.
I can often get a specialist's input without sending you anywhere. When you do need to be seen in person, I'll make the referral and stay involved.
The hospital.
I don't have admitting privileges, so a hospital physician manages your care while you're there. I'll coordinate with them directly, at no additional charge. When you're discharged, you and I pick up where we left off.
An emergency.
Go to the emergency room. Then let me know, and we'll handle what comes next together.
No contract
Membership is month-to-month. There's no minimum term and no fee to cancel. If it isn't working for you, you can stop.
One thing to know going in: if you cancel and later want to come back, there's a $300 re-enrollment fee.
When you're ready
Or talk to me first
If you have a question you'd rather ask a person, call the office at 308.865.0703, or contact me below. I'm glad to talk it through with no obligation to join.
There's no waiting period. If you join today and need a procedure this week, you pay the member price for it.
Not ready for a membership?
A one-time visit without a membership is $150. If you find yourself needing care more than once or twice a year, membership usually costs less.
Procedures are open to non-members too, at the prices listed on the services page.
