What carpal tunnel syndrome is
Carpal tunnel syndrome happens when the nerve that gives feeling to most of your fingers gets squeezed as it passes through your wrist. That pressure can cause:

Ultrasound-guided carpal tunnel release in my office
When you come in, I start with an ultrasound of your wrist to check whether you’re a good candidate for this approach. For most people, that means no separate EMG nerve test, which saves extra appointments, extra testing, and extra cost. If the release is the right fit, I perform it during that same visit, here in my office, under local anesthesia.
I’m certified by Sonex Health in the UltraGuideCTR technique, an ultrasound-guided approach to carpal tunnel release. Because it’s done in the office rather than an operating room, the cost comes down considerably. For those who want to use insurance we have options available as well.

Do I need to be a member?
No. Anyone can have carpal tunnel release done here. Members pay a lower price.

Usually not. I use ultrasound in the office to evaluate your wrist, which replaces EMG testing for most people.
Can both hands be done at the same time?
Yes. Releasing both hands in one visit is less expensive overall and total recovery time is shorter

Do you treat other hand problems?
Yes. I also treat trigger finger and Dupuytren's contracture, and I do ganglion cyst aspiration, all in the office.
